KARACHI: University of Karachi Professor Dr Muhammad Ismail who had been missing for the past 19 days reached his home safely late Wednesday.
According to the professor’s family, he went missing on September 15 after some unknown people broke into their house and forced the professor to go with them.
Dr Ismail teaches at the university’s department of Islamic Studies (Usool-ud-Din).
During the period the professor was missing, university administration and even including VC Dr Ajmal Khan remained quiet on this subject.
It is pertinent to mention here that, intelligence agencies have also arrested an Ansarul Shariah member, Danish Rasheed from the university’s staff colony upon a tip off.
