ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) developed a framework on Friday to probe into the parliamentarians’ assets.
Assistance will be sought from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and others to investigate the concealments of assets under the People’s Representation Act.
Political Finance Wing deputy director will monitor the funds spent on the election campaigns while the parliamentarian’s current assets would be compared to those which they possessed two years earlier.
The probe will commence on every November 1, according to the commission.
